Challenge:
Discovery kept returning the same picture: customers holding several cards live across several portals. Statements arrive in different formats, limits are opaque, buy-now-pay-later plans are hard to follow, and routine actions such as raising a limit, changing a PIN or enabling travel become support tickets because the self-serve path is buried.
Approach:
I designed the whole product in grayscale first: onboarding, OTP, dashboard, payments, rewards, Flex Pay and card controls all wireframed and signed off before any colour entered the file. That gate kept early reviews on structure instead of taste. High fidelity then ran in light and dark simultaneously, codified into a style guide.
Results:
The engagement delivered a developer-ready system rather than a deck: 45+ high-fidelity screens across five modules in both themes, a reusable style guide covering colour, type and components, and marketing-ready device mockups. All of it went to the client's development team as the product's single visual source of truth.
