Challenge:
Most designers lose their portfolio to the first screen. The work exists and the writing half-exists, but the site never launches because starting from nothing is the hardest part. A template only helps if it is opinionated enough to be usable and loose enough to make your own.
Approach:
I built it as a finished site rather than a starting skeleton: real structure, a real type scale, responsive across every breakpoint. Then I reduced it to the pieces someone would actually swap out, so work, about and contact can be edited without touching layout or breaking responsive behaviour.
Results:
A free, fully responsive Framer template the community can duplicate and publish the same day, removing the blank-page problem that sits between having good work and having somewhere to show it.
