Challenge:
A full redesign would have reset user habits and burned shipped code. Doing nothing left the product visually anonymous in a category where identity is currency. The theme had to feel native to Web3 while behaving as a drop-in evolution of the interface people already knew.
Approach:
Every key module was rebuilt as a low-fidelity wireframe first, locking 1:1 parity with the shipped product, an explicit contract that only the skin would change. The dark theme was then applied in high fidelity, tuning contrast and hierarchy for analytics-heavy views, and packaged so each module could be adopted on its own.
Results:
The client received a complete dark theme at one-to-one parity across five modules, adoptable component by component, with zero flow changes for existing users. The wireframe parity set doubles as documentation their team continues to build against, so the work keeps paying out well after handoff.
